Tour Description

Overview

Kerala is the one of the most popular tourist destination for honeymoon. It has various stunning tourist destinations that will give you the chance to know each other and create the best memories of your life and start your new life while exploring the God’s own country, Kerala.

The entire state is surrounded with surrounded by a grove of Palm trees along with backwaters and breath-taking Arabian Sea in the west and the Western Ghats in the east, which makes it one of the most amazing destination.  ‘Kerala Honeymoon Tour’ will give you the chance to explore some of the stunning locations of the state along with that you will get an opportunity to visit the major sightseeing of the places. The duration of the tour is 07 nights and 08 days, covering the places such as Munnar, Cochin, Alleppey, Kovalam and Kumarakom.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cochin (Sightseeing)

Upon arrive in Cochin airport, meet our representative, after welcome, and proceed to the hotel.
Kochi is one of the most important city of Kerala which is also known as Cochin Located on the south-west coast in Kerala which is also known as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. Kochi is one of the most beautiful city of the state of Kerala.

On arrival at your pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, proceed for a half day sightseeing covering the places such as Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Net, St. Francis Church, Cochin Shipyard and Mattancherry Island. Stay and spice market.

In the evening, enjoy the Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :  Cochin - Munnar(By Road - 130 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Today, after having breakfast, proceed to Munnar by road.
Munnar is one of the most picturesque hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala. The town is located at the foothill of the Western Ghats mountain range, at the height of about 5,200 feet above from the sea level.Also offers the exotic species of flora and fauna, which enhances the beauty of the town.  Munnar is not popular as a hill resort, but it is also the centre of the Kerala’s tea growing district, aptly known as the high range.

On arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure or you explore the surroundingsat your won or you make also visit some local market where you can buy some authentic handicraft items of Kerala.Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 :  Munnar Sightseeing

Afterbreakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Munnar., you will visit the major attractions Including Christ Church which was established in 1910 by the British, visit Eravikulam National Park which is the home of NilgiriTahr apart from this is also vast flora and fauna

Then explore MattupettyDamIt is located at the distance of 13 kilometres away from Munnar. This 160 feet high dam has vast reservoir extending several kilometres into the hill. Cruising here is an amazing experience. It is offering occasional sightings of elephant, gaur as well as sambar and Anamudi peak it located at the elevation of 2695 meter above the sea level, the peak is located within Eravikulam, you may also get a trekking opportunities here.

Day 4 :  Munnar - Kumarakom (By Road - 138 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom, it is one of the major tourist destination of the state of Kerala. It is renowned for backwater, located on the Vembanad Lake, which is the largest lake of fresh water.

Check-in at a backwater resort. After freshen up , proceed to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, it is Protected by a thick cluster of mangroves, the bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres and home to over 180 species of birds. It is best to visit on foot by one and half kilometres on walking trek, where you are likely to spot heron, darters, water duck, waterfowl, owl, cuckoo and Siberian crane.

You may also take some adventure activities like water skiing and windsailing.
Stay overnight at the backwater resort.

Day 5 :  Kumarakom - Alleppey (Alappuzha) (By Road - 34 kilometres) Sightseeing

Today, in the morning, head straight to Alleppey. Upon arrival, get on board the beautiful Post breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Alappuzha also known as Alleppey. It is one of the oldest planned city of the kerala, located about 75 kilometres away from Kochi and about 155 kilometres from Trivandrum. It is one of the popular tourist destination of India. It is famous for backwaters. There are at least six navigable canals in the town.

Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts. Overnight at Alleppey.

Day 6 :  Alleppey - Kovalam (By Road - 160 kilometres) Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed to Kovalam
The city of Kovalam is Kerala’s most popular tourist attraction. This beach town is located on the shores of Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram city. The meaning of Kovalam is a grove of coconut trees which gives it the true significance as the entire town is surrounded by coconut trees. Three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky headlands are the main hotspot here.

On arrival, check in at the resort. Overnight stay at a resort. After freshen up, you have the choice to explore the beautiful beaches the town such as Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach, apart from this you may also enjoy the water sports activity such as kayaking, skiingswimming, you may also take relaxing Ayurvedic massage as well. Overnight Stay in Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam Sightseeing

Today after having breakfast,proceed towards Kanyakumari, known as Cape Comorin during the British period, it is one of the holiest place for Hindus, located on the foothill of Cardamom Hills. It is home an oldest Lord Shiva temple. You will also get the chance to explore the beaches here. Apart from this visit Padmanabhapuram Palace which is the magnificent architecture gem constucted during the 16th century.
Back to Kovalam in the evening. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 8 :  Kovalam - Trivandrum (Departure and sightseeing) (By Road - 19 kilometres)

Today is the last day of the tour, after breakfast, proceed to the Trivandrum, and enjoy the morning sightseeing tour of Trivandrum.Later proceed the airport for boarding a flight to your onward destination. We hope you have enjoyed your trip and look forward to organizing your next tour with us.
